Products

We have never used disposable drapes before what are the benefits?

Atateb sets have everything you require to drape the surgeon and the patient for a surgical operation.

  • You save time preparing for procedures.
  • Everything is already sterile and single use.
  • At the end of the procedure everything is discarded limiting cross infection.
What is the AAMI level of your products?
All our products are level 4. See below for full description.
  • Level 1: Minimal risk, to be used, for example, during basic care, standard isolation, cover gown for visitors, or in a standard medical unit
  • Level 2: Low risk, to be used, for example, during blood draw, suturing, in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or a pathology lab
  • Level 3: Moderate risk, to be used, for example, during arterial blood draw, inserting an Intravenous (IV) line, in the Emergency Room, or for trauma cases
  • Level 4: High risk, to be used, for example, during long, fluid intense procedures, surgery,  when pathogen resistance is needed or infectious diseases are suspected (non-airborne)
How do I safely dispose of the drapes once used.
We recommend that you follow your local guidelines on safe disposal of items contaminated with bodily fluids.
Can I use the products once again?
  • Our sterile items are single use only.
  • For the non sterile gowns these can be used in non sterile areas non patient contact to protect the user from contamination. 
How do I store my products?
Store all products In a clean, dry and tidy place.

Avoid stacking many boxes on each other to maintain their contents intact.

I need to alter the products you supply, can this be done?

Yes.

We have taken ideas/feedback from our clients and worked with them in their theatres to understand the adjustments we need to make to the products and we feedback this to our manufacturer who then sends this back for your use.

Are your products available to buy outside of Kenya?

Yes. We sell to all customers regardless of location. We can recommend  our transport partners to deliver to you.
